#2, Lancia Beta, too.

There are many Italian and British cars that could give a Scout a run for its rust.

Perhaps I could add an individual car to the list... my mom's '99 Tracker. 4 years, chassis shows significant corrosion problems... 9 years, chassis splits in half due to rust.

It's the reason Chevrolet dealerships joined Toyota dealerships as being blacklisted by my family. (Toyota dealers because they're dicks, and Chevrolet because they refused to repair the corrosion problems under warranty, claiming it was abnormal wear and tear)

#7, Actually, that Tracker was garage-kept its entire life.

#10, Wha? How? It was garage-kept, but daily-driven... washed regularly... I don't see how that could have contributed?

You'd think that in modern times, it'd be darn near impossible to build a car that rusts out in under 8 years or so, and yet, they built the Ford Aspire......

Also, some of the 2 door cavaliers/sunfires seem to go to pot in those big expanses of quarter panel

#13, Mazda 3 sedans, and FWD GM W-bodies here lose their metal faster you can shake a stick at.

#12, Uhm. Yeah. No.

Cars kept in garages in Florida corrode at a MUCH slower rate than cars left outside.

#14, +1 for the Mazda 3's. Some of them aren't even 5 years old and their already just throwing in the towel.
