I'm kinda getting turned off to SS cars of this era, only because so many moron rednecks make half-assed clones of them and then brag about it..... I'm almost more attracted to well preserved base models at this point

#1, I've never been terribly enamored with Chevrolet SS muscle cars. ...and how much they're over-hyped on Barrett-Jackson doesn't help matters.

#3, Unfortunately, nobody around here knows how to build a non-shitty clone. I've seen more than enough bondo-and-primer splattered Novas with 350 blocks pulled from the nearest dead pickup and "SS" badges glued on (or NOT glued on, but the owner INSISTS he's got an SS) that I'm a bit, well, jaded.......
