Small Block Chevrolet, .030 overbore, equipped with a full RPM performer package from Edelbrock, we're hoping to hit the sunny side of 400HP with this one |

Ricers aren't exactly observant..... and yes, it's a 5.7 from a 72' Chevy Pickup, 4 bolt mains

Ricers might not, but beating people in idle gets boring after a while, you want to go have a challenge now and then. |

3rd-gen Camaros are still sporty-looking enough that some would try to go for an honest drag race against one of them. |

Well, this one is actualy on the site, we got it for like $500 from a neighbor, it needs interior work, and the transmission needs fixed, but other than that, no rust, and it has T-tops
It's #5985

Still, $500 for a good rolling chassis wouldn't be bad. |

But what do you intend to do about the transmission?
Ed: 5-speed, yes, but is that the original equipment in the car, or something you're swapping in?

It's the original 5 Speed, it needs a new synchro for 3rd gear, then we can just bolt this to that |

Sweet plan, Low-Tech. Just paint the rims to match the ride, though. #11 You never know, Cams. If enough thought is put into the exhaust, you can make it sound like your typical V6 with shitty, rusted-out exhaust. You guys would've loved the show I went to last night. Classic muscle all over the place. '64 GTO, '69 Pro Street Chevelle, '69 Shelby GT500 (w/428 Cobra Jet), concours condition, calender & magazine-featured '70 Boss 302 Stang, '63 Grand Prix, etc, etc. All 10 or 12 miles from my house. Every Saturday night. Lovin' it. Still got the rumble of that Chevelle in my head. |
