Description:
2013 Toyota Avalon. For some reason my camera really didn't like to focus on this car.

I'm sorry, but the grille in the lower fascia is a wretched monstrosity.

Another ugly Toyota, and trying to copy Audi A5 to boot. Fucking yawn.

I don't understand the sedans that look like hatchbacks. This and the new Impala come to mind.

#4, Yeah, this trunk opening is a joke... just make it a damn hatchback so people don't have to go spelunking for their luggage and groceries...

I still really dislike these and the Impala. I think small trunks are dumb, again, as you said, why not buy a hatch?

#6, For the longest time, I espoused the greatness that is rear hatches. Hatchbacks, wagons, fastbacks, etc... sometimes I made no bones about my distaste for sedans in general (despite owning a few in my car history)... though, I was ok with 2-door coupes.

Then that damn monkey's paw thing happened, and the world got taken over by SUVs and crossovers. I got my wish; rear hatch openings for everyone! ...but was it worth it?

...I say that as an owner of a crossover, and actively eyeing a new one. Though, my current and potential future ones really do straddle the line between hatchback and crossover.

#7, I don't dislike sedans in general. I just like vehicles that are easily accessible. I also like seeing where my cargo is, and knowing if something is rolling around in the trunk area or not. I have owned sedans, and hatches/SUVs as well. I just like the idea of, if possible/necessary, sleeping in the vehicle if too tired on drives longer distances.

I like two door coupes, too, but I realize they're not practical for everyone. Oddly enough, I don't dislike certain SUV/coupe/crossovers. I like the GLE coupe, I've gotten used to the X6 and X4 but I dislike the taillights and front fascias on each. However, like you said, (and quoting Robin Thicke, sometimes the lines are blurred. When does go from 2 series Gran Coupe to X2 Coupe? or C class to GLC?

I like coupes. They're getting hard as hell to find, though. You can't even get two-door trucks anymore.

With fewer people than ever having kids in this country, why does almost every new car have to be a kiddie hauler?

#9, Ford, Chevy and GMC still offer single-cab fullsize trucks... albeit, only in the lowest trim levels. But even then, with only a few convenience/appearance options, easily crest $40k.

#10, You also never see them on dealer lots. They'd pretty much make you order them.
