Seriously? Ignore the elements and the odd bird dropping - just take them from the dip - head and down the interstate to the assembly line.
Diplomats didn't have any rust issues - did they?

In communist Poland there was a rumor about making pressings from sheet steel that was already rusted, especially in the Jelcz truck factory and FSM (Fiat 126p). There might have been some truth to it, in FSM possibly well into the 90s. |
