Description:
This picture has been on the same wall downtown since 1986, and it wasn't until I stopped to photograph it that I realized:
The artist responsible for it really has no idea how perspective works. |

Reminds me of the '50s drive-in theme painted on the walls at a local McDonald's. Although the cars are pretty easily identifiable, most of them suffer from this same perspective-warp, some worse than others.
Also, one subject in the painting (who seems to be Asian, from her face) was given jaundice-yellow skin, which is just disturbing. |

#6, I was more upset at you LINKING back to it... I know you can at least draw better than that, and I say that with confidence having never met you face to face! |

#11, Ah yes, the one element of perspective that's tried and failed more than any other...... FORESHORTENING!
Yeah, cars were big back then, but they weren't as LONG AS 18 WHEELERS! |

Well, our long national nightmare is over. Those cracks at the bottom finally reached the top and the whole stucco facade fell right off the wall, "picture" included.
Good riddance. |

hahaha. Wow, this reminds me of those horrible Joe Camel ads from the early 1990s. |

#11, You know, I can tell that the top and bottom cars are loose interpretations of a 1959 DeSoto and a 1959 Cadillac, respectively, but I can't for the life of me figure out what the middle car is supposed to be. |
