Pro tip: If you're going to hit something, try hitting something that will move when you do. Low concrete walls tend not to move much.

Wow, I haven't seen an airbrushed front tag in a long time. Kind of a late-'90s thing, really.

I didn't know the Kia Rio was even available with side curtain airbags.

#3, It didn't deploy the ones on the other side, which is odd, since that side's just as tore up, NONE of those doors open, a consequence of landing on it's roof after somersaulting over the wall.

I've always thought that this generation of Rio was a very solid design, aesthetically... to be honest, I didn't mind the first Rio that much, either... it was a bit awkward-looking, but ambitious with a decent amount of aesthetic success.

Well, they didn't waste any time, junkman came and hauled this one away today, less than 40 hours from time of crash.

#5, Airbag deployment is black magic to us humans. Speaking of safety systems, there are mysterious wires under the front seats of my totally airbag-and other-safety system-less E36. I assume the car has some sort of seatbelt pretensioner system, as heated seats were not offered in 1991.

#10, Does it have power seats?

#11, Nope. Save for power windows/mirrors/sunroof, foglights and optional steering wheel and BBS wheels it's a pretty basic 2.0l car. It doesn't even have AC or CheckControl computer.

#10, you'd be correct.
