Description:
Thought that popped up in my head recently... I seem to have an unusual appreciation for economy cars that are *not* intended to be sporty...
These are three cars that came to mind... back when they were on the market, I took notice and thought very positively regarding them, aesthetically.
Even now, I look at them, and I think that they still hold up, visually. I still feel they just "work", stylistically. Good proportions, good styling tweaks, good lines.
KW: Refreshed Daewoo Lanos 3-door, 4th-gen Tercel coupe, Pre-facelift 2nd-gen Hyundai Accent 3-door. |

#20, YES.
MX-3 is awesome too.
How bout the 200 SE-R or are those not cool-looking enough? |

#22, fair enough. I like the first one, and the '95-'99 SE-R.
I also forgot a car until just now. I found the 1992 Buyer's Guide from Motor Trend. Dodge Daytona IROC R/T. |

Many of the cars mentioned here don't fit the "not intended to be sporty" bill. The Daytona, the Storm, the MX-3, and the NX were all sold as cheap sports cars, despite their humble underpinnings. |

#25, The ones at the top are good examples. Really most economy cars aren't intended to be sporty. |

I saw a ZX5 and Impreza hatch parked next to each other today, amazing how similar they look.
