After seeing one of these with a GM 2.2 Ecotec at a car show once, I wonder what would happen if someone decided to try something different and restored a basketcase Metropolitan with, say, a modified Chevy Spark EV powertrain. City runabout with 400 lb feet of torque. XD It would probably take a lot of engineering to make that work, but it would be different.
