I found several on the web with salvage titles. You have vehicles that were still worth $22k-30k at the time they bumped into something, being totaled out by insurance companies for $3000 in minor fender bender damage. Two were flood cars including one that presumably got drowned by Sandy last year, not much you can do about that I guess.

#6, I blame airbags. I have seen dozens of otherwise fixable cars go to scrap because it costs too much to re-pack the bags, especially now that they have even more than just the one for the driver.

#8, What's weird is that of all the crash-salvaged 9-4Xs I found, none had deployed the airbags.
