I've seen plenty of S10s/Sonomas of this generation loose their paintjobs and rust like this because the weather literally washes it off, must've been something mis-calibrated in the paintmix that month at the factory. |

Also see tons of Chrysler products like this in Kansas. Sun bakes the paint, then the rainy falls and winters turn the exposed metal into surface rust. |
