I LOLed at 8163. XD

I've seen these ISTs on eBay several times, and am a little curious about them. How's the quality?

#3, This one is a limited edition of 1012 units made for ModelCarWorld.de. The quality is pretty decent, even though overall appearance looks like a budget model. Made in China, and you can tell it was made from a parts tree by looking at the underside of the bumpers and such. Interior is painted plastic and the seats came from the factory with a couple of little scratches. Rear doors don't open but the engine, interior and trunk are detailed sufficiently. No working suspension. I had to shake it a little to get the hood and doors open but they move smoothly once you get enough of a grip on them.

It should be noted that after photographing the three former Iron Curtain cars together, a tiny model screw appeared which I couldn't trace as belonging to any of them. So the realism is better than I thought, apparently. :P

#4, The panel gaps and fitment of trim/lighting looks spot on, as well. :P

The Trabi seems to have some inaccuracies. It also has a weird rake which the real cars did not have.
I'm wondering if the real ones would not be cheaper than models XD

The Trabant is a Sun Star item originally issued under the Vitesse brand in the late 1990s. The grey car and mustard wagon were apparently both made exclusively for German distributor 'Cars & Co.' I got the wagon in Germany in 2009 at a museum gift shop and the grey car is probably a 2012 or newer issue I picked up at the same time as the Lada earlier this year, both ordered from Germany.
