#2, Nope! Both cars were wrought from the hands of an over enthusiastic American investor who looked for the cheapest and most labour-starved places to set up shop.

#3, Well, at least DeLorean had a proven carmaker's pedigree.

The less said about Malcom "Never saw a car I didn't think I could sell... to hapless franchise owners" Bricklin, the better.

#4, "Yugo: The Rise and Fall of the Worst Car in the World" is a fantastic book... and it's sad to say that the Yugo is Bricklin's greatest success story...

...though, admittedly, the Bertone X1/9 and the Pininfarina Spider were rather successful for the scale of the orgnaization...

#7, The sad part is, for all it's flaws and mismanagement, the Yugo experiment almost, ALMOST, worked.....

#8, What really killed the Yugo? Two words:

Hyundai Excel.

I'd like to have an early Bricklin with AMC power, preferably in Safety Green.
