Description:
I'd just like to state for the record, since it's on its way out now, that I happen to think the 2011-2014 Dodge Charger is absolute aesthetic perfection. Every part of the design I love. It was a massive step up from the previous one, and the new 2015 is rather unfortunate in appearance...

Yeah, they pretty much ruined the '15, particularly in the front. The '11-14s make for such badass police cars... my city just bought some and changed their paint scheme for the new cars.

#1, Yeah, FHP kinda altered part of their livery to match the sculpted rear fenders...

The livery line on the rear fender used to just be an arbitrary straight line...

#2, I always got the impression that the FHP livery was made for a Tri-Five Chevy.

Wait. I'm not the only one who like these anymore?

These look great in black (duh), lime green, yellow, orange and blue, and the Mopar version looks pretty slick too.

I didn't care for the 2006-2010 Chargers. These actually looked good. The 2015s just look like overgrown Darts.

I'll admit though, the SRT version kinda ruins the front end...

I like both SRTs, and I love the 2011+ regular ones. :D

I noticed this "Front end for all" trend from GM and Ford as well. It takes a conservative front end and make ALL their Sub, compact, mid, full size have it. Its an MBA approach to selling cars. They're doing this with the Ford Focus now where it will look like a Fusion.

Honestly, I think the age of cool looking cars in the late 2000s-early 2010 is over.

#3, I'd argue with you, but, apparently, prior to the mid-'50s, they had the simple scheme of black/brown car with tan doors... it was only in the mid-'50s that they went to the current scheme of the tan being on the top of the rear fender... but I can't find any photos of tri-five Chevys in the scheme, only '50s Fords...

I really was bothered by the standard 2015 Charger when it came out, but the SRT front fixed everything I didn't like about the styling.

Conversely, I liked the current generation of Durango and all the new 2018+ SRT visual stuff makes me hate it.
