I've never heard of this package. Some sort of limited edition?

#1, from wikipedia

"Briarwood - 1991–1992 (succeeded Wagoneer) Included: leather-and-vinyl upholstery, faux maple-wood interior accents with wood laminate exterior decals, lace-spoke wheels, A/M-F/M radio with cassette player and six Jensen AccuSound speakers, infrared (single-button) remote keyless entry, overhead console, dual power seats, and an air conditioner."

Pretty much the same thing as the XJ Wagoneer then. Weird that they sold the Wagoneer and Grand Wagoneer simultaneously, but then ditched the nameplate on the XJ as soon as the SJ stopped production....I would think the death of the latter would eliminate confusion about the name on the former.

#3, Wagoneer was small, Grand Wagoneer was bigger.

#4, Yes, XJ vs SJ. Still one of the potential sources of confusion, though, like the three or four different cars that Oldsmobile sold as variations of "Cutlass" at the same time.

Cutlass Calais, Cutlass Supreme (fwd), Cutlass Supreme (rwd), Cutlass Ciera, Cutlass Salon?

On another note... just something that popped in my head... for being so much smaller than the Big Three, AMC really managed to pull off some incredible styling over the decades... soooo many of their designs still stand the test of time, in my opinion... many are just utterly timeless classics.

Of course, I may just be biased towards AMC due to my love of the quirky and off-beat... (and my bias for Mopar comes into play, as they were the ones that absorbed all of AMC's history, so to speak)

3. 1984-1996 Jeep XJ Cherokee
2. AMC S/C Rambler

For me it's hard to pick just 5:
5. '65 Rambler Marlin
4. 1966-1969 AMC Americans
3. 1968-70 Javelins
2. 1973-74 Hornet X hatchback and '71-73 Sportabout
1. 1980-1988 Eagle (particularly '81-85? Sport Wagons and '81-83 Eagle SX/4, as well as certain 2WD Concord wagons which technically aren't Eagles)

4. Jeep SJ
3. 1971-1973 Matador
2. 1971-1974 Javelin
1. 1968-1970 Javelin and AMX
