Again, much like the LS/vintage Benz photo from a while back, my brain would totally pick the Lexus, but my heart wants the older, more distinguished vehicle.

I would be torn. I love both for very different reasons; the LX because, being based on the Land Cuiser, should make it utterly unstoppable and quite capable. The Range, because it has an aura of class that "new money" simply cannot buy. Would I be wrong to pick both, for the reasons I listed?

#2, They both, undoubtedly would be amazing off-road... but the Lexus I'd be afraid to scratch up and scuff... but the Range Rover... I know it'd handle the off-road stuff ok, but it'd probably break down after a month and require thousands to repair.
