Just how lax is Minnesota vehicle inspections?

"Headlights? Present. It's a pass."

...or is it like us hillbillies down here in America's dingus that have no inspections of any kind?

As long as those lights all work, it would pass the anal PA inspections too, they don't care how it looks, they just want them to work.

The grilleless pickup isn't rare around here, as they say, truck by GM, body-by-whitetail

#1, we don't really have inspections anymore. Minneapolis doesn't, but St Paul does.

#4, Reminds me of auto shop in high school... we had donated vehicles from manufacturers... these vehicles had very specific titles to them, that they could never be road legal, and any parts taken off of them would be illegal to sell or be used as replacements on other vehicles...

One year, we returned after the summer to find the Chevy C1500 pickup had been almost completely stripped of parts... the county facility maintenance people apparently figured it'd be a cheap way to get replacement parts for their Chevy pickups... they got in deep shit over it.
