#1, Agreed there. :D I love both fronts, but I like this one a lot more. And as the owner of cars on this platform, I am a strong supporter of this car in general :) Built well, drives nice, great gas mileage, and best of all, distinctive without being ugly. |

And now, they're killing it, but giving us a lifted shitwagon we never asked for. Jim Hackett is a moron, and I'm questioning where former Focus owners who don't want an SUV/Crossover are going to go now. Granted, I looked at an Ecosport, but still. |

If I were shopping in this category, the Hyundai Elantra would pretty much be a slam dunk for me, or Veloster if I wanted a hatchback. Not only have I enjoyed my Hyundai so far, but it seems like the Koreans are almost the only ones building real cars with actual options at the moment. |

Gonna agree with all of this. I *almost* ditched my C-Max for a Sonata earlier this year, but decided I liked the hatchback practicality. I wish the Niro were a bit cheaper, honestly, because that seems to be the only real competitor left. I love those things, and I'm not afraid to admit it. |

#4, Four months after that, I did indeed buy an Elantra. |
