I haven't seen one of these in quite some time. They don't seem to have survived too well.

Oddly enough, there was someone in this neighborhood that had one a decade ago (same color, too)... I hadn't seen it in forever, and then, last week, boom, it was in their driveway again... damndest thing.

The woman who owns the house is rather elderly, so I'm wondering if she passed the Cougar down to one of her kids when she replaced it, and they came into town to visit her...

These thins are gradually dying off here, mostly due to being owned by younger folks who see them as cheap used cars and treat them accordingly.

#3, Same here, that, plus road salt = dead in 15 years. Not that I mind, the styling on these were so "out there" compared to everything else at the time, plus it tried to pick up the mantle of the T-bird based Cougar, I immediately took a red-headed step-child dislike to them. I might have grown to like them a bit more if they'd badged them as Capris.... but calling it a Cougar? You're fooling nobody.

#4, It was designed as the bigger-brother to the Ford Puma, so it makes sense.
