Whether it be original or a heavy resto, got to respect the effort, even has whitewalls and hubcaps.

#1, Did pickups have unique wheel covers versus passenger vehicles?

#2, I'm not sure, I'm just in awe of a time when such was considered normal on a truck. Either that, or painted steelies.

#3, Having carlike features in styling and trim was way more common decades ago than it is now...

Hell, we were headed MORE towards carlike pickups in the late '80s/early '90s... and then Dodge unleashed their mini-Peterbilt, and changed the path of pickup styling and marketing forever.

...in retrospect, I honestly don't know which side of the issue I'm on... I'm thinking we NEED carlike pickups again...

#5, Ah, ok, thanks... I was just curious how difficult it would be for a person like this to find a replacement... if they were bespoke to the pickup line, I imagine that would have made them damn-near impossible to locate.

#6, A general rule of thumb is that anything on American pickups isn't too hard to find, either in used form or reproduction. It's a lot harder with the cars, really.

These are actually kinda hard to find now. The faux slotted hubcaps are a lot more common, especially now.
