Description:
My dad sent me some photos... he's now fully moved-in to his new house further North (sold his house near Philly)

The LHS looks like shit, but it still runs like a dream... as such a comfy car, my dad can't bear to part with it for scrap, or whatever low-ball KBB value it has. He feels it's always handy to have a backup car... (the DeSoto, 'Vette, and now the Caddy are all essentially non-runners at the moment... unfortunately)

This is the external garage that he had arranged to be built next to the new house... the [white] Pacifica and [green] Cabrio will be in the garage attached to the house.

If you look between the DeSoto and the shelves, you can slightly make out a dark mechanical contraption with a windshield... that would be my old '01 Rebel. Sucker probably still has less than 1000 miles on it...

I didn't realize he had a '70 Caddy.

Does the BMW still run?

#2, Well, the Beemer ran just fine the last time my dad used it... which was unfortunately over 12 years ago. He had even gotten the two carbs adjusted in sync and everything back then.

Ever since he busted his knees real bad in 2002, the only time since that he has ridden a bike was when he test-drove my Vulcan for me last year (I was still relearning how to ride at the point)

#3, To be honest, since it's mechanically fine, and the inside is still a sumptuous leather interior, I was reminded of http://www.nbc.com/saturday-night-l...ameleon/2859849

#2, Oh yeah, as to the first part of your comment... yeah, he bought it off eBay a few years back. It is a total lemon. Apparently, he bought it from a "flipper" who had worked really hard to mask its various problems. My dad actually managed to get in contact from the *original* owner that the flipper had bought the car from, and has a better idea of all the car's problems now.

The brakes are shot, the engine is down two cylinders, the electrics are fucked. It's a complete mess. Buyer beware.
