Here we see the Rustbelt Chameleon... born bright red in its native Japan, it turned silver to blend in with its surroundings in an urban habitat. In advanced age the Chameleon attempts to return to its red coloration but can only manage a dull brown around the edges.

I do too. I would love one of these, but finding a clean one is damn-near impossible. Even in KS where my dad is, finding a clean one is a task.

#5, These went to pot bout' as fast as the Ford Aspire and Dodge Sprinters.... you'd think it'd be impossible for the 21st Century to give us a car that rusts at the 5 year mark.... but there you go...

BTW - how bad is "guldurn"? Is it more or less severe than "Daggum"? Asking for a friend.

I wanted one of these badly for years. They don't really rust here in California per se -- except the one I test drove before I got my Focus -- that one had been left outside under trees and had some rust in the sunroof lift/track assembly. Mind you, that MP5 was only 7 years old then. Around here, most of them have been used as urban runabouts and the bumpers are all torn up. The rest have been modded and/or driven into the ground.
