Why do carmakers have to take their simple circular headlight units and overcomplicate them? Saw one of these drive by with the pockmark LEDs on... looks like shit. Still think the worst are the new Mini's lights.

#1, My least favorite trends are those damn LED strips, especially aftermarket ones; looks like shit, and the aftermarkets are either way too dim, or way too bright. Oh, I hate those strips of LED taillights on pickups too.

#2, Toyota has gotten absolutely ridiculous, lately.

I'm almost thinking of Toyota as a modern-day British Leyland (albeit, with reliable, well-built cars)

... their cars are starting to fall behind in terms of engineering and technology, so they're going off the deep-end with ridiculous styling, and slapping trendy styling trends on their cars, seemingly as afterthoughts...

"People like sedans with stretched-out greenhouses? Let's take our Camry and slap fake rear quarter windows on it!"
"People like aggressive fascias with big air scoops? Well, we've got plenty of fake plastic mesh!"
"People like blue headlights and LED strips? Let's get the cheapest ones we can and slap them on EVERYTHING"

#3, oh and fake exhaust tips, too. (Here's looking at you IS-F, and other F-Sport cars.)
