I still contend that Willys/Kaiser/AMC/Chrysler did an astonishing job keeping this bodystyle looking fresh for so long without a complete redesign.

Amazing what simple refreshes to the headlights, taillights, grille, and trim can do.

In a related story, I saw a 1990 Grand Wagoneer for sale on ebay a year or so ago with the four-light front clip from a '60s Kaiser swapped on. It looked awesome.

#2, That seems to be a popular swap, as I've seen some here. It's pretty cool that AMC kept their products looking fresh with minor styling tweaks.
