Actually, it's a Cadillac Brougham... the wacky nomenclature and FWD/RWD bullshit Caddy was pulling in this era, this car didn't officially carry the "Fleetwood" name...

#1, I still think the 'named' Cadillac's were among some of the worst to wear the crest. Yes - every single Eldorado.

I - for one - welcome the new orderly and logical nomenclature.

#2, And just for you, they came out with the CT6 which makes no sense in the naming scheme unless they rename everything else, and the Escalade which will lose a lot of brand equity if they change it to some "orderly" letters now.

I still hold a grudge for them ditching the wreath and stretching the crest out horizontally. I know there's some history where they did that previously, but it looks ugly.

#3, ...that new emblem looks ungodly cheap on a grille... and they're getting in the habit of NOT placing it dead center, but a bit off-center, towards the top... which drives me nuts.

#3, They'll all fit the XT# and CT# nomenclature over time. The CT6 doesn't bother me - but it should serve as a guide for how the rest of the range will be sorted out.

Regrettably - the Escalade has escaped the XT# names.

#5, It appears Lincoln is doing the same with the Navigator, keeping the name rather than trying to mesh it into their MK* naming scheme.

#6, It may pay off, given that they're bringing back the Continental. I wonder if they could have gotten away with keeping all real names had they picked something better than "Zephyr" for their Luxofusion almost a decade ago.

#7, Zephyr was a damn fine name.

#8, Agreed. I like it, too. At least they didn't call it Versailles.

#9, What, you don't want a Ford Granada with a chrome nose, vinyl top, and 50% tacked onto the MSRP? :P

#10, Come on, for that price you at least get a good rear end.

Or not.

#12, I wasn't talking about the styling...
It looks like someone might have cribbed the rear end out of that one too.

and with that, Lincoln has actual names now apparently.

#14, A good move indeed. The MKX is apparently now the Nautilus... not a bad name, but I think I preferred Aviator.

I wonder what they'll rename the MKT to... perhaps just drop all pretenses of sanity and just use the Town Car name by itself?

#15, the livery one is just called Town Car, so I assume if it doesn't get chucked, it will become a Town Car for non-fleet too. I liked Aviator as well. "Lincoln Nautilus" doesn't quite flow.
