As much as I hate to admit it, WRXs are faster. Unfortunately they have more drivetrain problems than mitsus right now. If you've ever owned a mitsubishi with the trademark paper mache gear box soup that breaks a spider, shift fork or syncro once every 6 months, try to imagine something more unreliable than that.

what are you talking about, ginsu? lancer evos have 275hp, WRXs have 230. lancers are faster.

No they don't. The WRX only has 220-230hp and the Evo has 280hp. The WRX Sti on the other hand has 265hp, but it is still slower than a Lancer. And the Evo7 has an active centre differential.

I would. I hate tailgatin'.... that little fucker'd have a Subaru hood ornament. I need a REALLY good reason to tailgate somebody.

When somebody's tailgating me, I actually like to slow down. I can't stand having someone breathing down my neck like that. Especially when (a) my car can stop as quickly as anything that could be behind me and (b) it also doesn't do very well in hard rear-end collisions.

That's pretty slick. I don't drive on the highway too often, but I'll have to remember that one. Generally, when somebody's tailgating me, I'll accelerate like crazy from a stop (as if I need an excuse) then just drive the speed-limit. Never fails to make 'em realize that you could drive faster, but you're sure not going to.

I do brake-checks. Nothing calms an asshole down like a trunklid rushing up to meet his face. Did it once so hard that my brakes locked up and my tires squealed. Needless to say, he turned off.
