Did they actually have "rs" badges like that, stock? It looks a bit wonky to me...

Whoever did this car up decided to go with a 1968 "D-90" stripe instead of the 1967 nose stripe. 1968 RSs should have a smaller engine displacement badge instead of the RS badge (as seen here: http://cdn.barrett-jackson.com/stag...ont_3-4_Web.jpg ), but apparently the builder decided to keep the stock '67 RS badge, but mount it higher to fit inside the stripe. I agree that it looks a bit odd. If it were mine, I'd have left the fender badge off entirely.
