#1, Nitpicking, but Mann's Valiant isn't quite a poverty pack, it's gussied up with the exterior decor group, deluxe two-toned vinyl interior, and 1971-only Deluxe wheelcovers.
It also manages to magically transform in a 1970 model with V8 badges on the fenders during scenes where it has to be driven hard, and a 1972 with chrome tape on the trunk lid imitating the 1971 decor trunk trim in certain scenes as well. |

#1, As for the truck, an International LoneStar has a suitably sinister appearance, and the oldest ones are about old enough now. Only problem is that they're inherently fancy trucks, and it's hard to find them in "beater" condition hauling fuel tankers. |

#4, Yep. The 1972 model was used in the "new" scenes, which were shot about five years after the rest of the movie. |

#5, I think this pairing works best. How bout a Caliber, or would a hubcapped Avenger suffice? |

#7, Apparently so. I was under the impression that the overseas release was in 1976, for some reason. |
