#1, Crossovers began as a way to make an SUV cheaper, more efficient, and nicer-riding... now they're just a way for a car company to take a hatchback or wagon, put it on stilts, and tack $5k-10k on the price.

Also, I don't know if I'd call the Nissan 3.3 reliable. They're certainly not rust-free, at least here.

I'd say the JX35/QX60 is the successor because it's Infiniti's current Pathfinder twin. Unless you specifically mean a body on frame luxury SUV, which leaves pretty much only the QX80...

#4, rust aside, i still like what this SUV was.
not a fan of the behemoth large ones.
