I can now add a new vehicle to my "do not get stuck behind in traffic" list... four-door Wranglers on off-road tires. I don't know what it is, but they always stick in the fast lane and accelerate slow as hell and barely crest the speed limit, if they ever reach it in the first place...

...is it that the ride is so atrociously bad that they drive slower for pure comfort's sake?

They share the previously mentioned list with Nissan Versas and otherwise stock pickups that have loud straight exhaust. (Again, why?! The truck makes all kinds of hellish noise, like it's being floored, but I've seen them gain speed slower than cement mixers!)

#1, A lot of people don't get that your tire size is essentially the final gear in your transmission, and putting significantly larger-than-stock tires on a vehicle without tweaking the driveline will lead to poor acceleration, bad gas mileage, and all that crap....
