Description:
Stopped by the engine shop the other day and asked about parts availability for 4.9L Pontiacs
Guy said he only sees one every 5 or so years. But, master rebuild kits are still made.
Welp, that answers that question. Next question, how many nights will it take me to finish yanking this out? I got about 1/3 of it done after work today. |

2/3rds done, finished yanking the electrical lines, vacuum lines and the radiator. With any luck, tomorrow I can do the transmission connections (bell housing, flexplate, kickdown cable) and the exhaust and have it out by suppertime.
