I was never really a fan of the GMT360 platform... but this and the Buick Rainier are the only two I like because, to me, they look damn good.

Someone likes the SSR?

I will admit I sort of like them, too, actually. But I haven't seen one in a while :)

The only thing saving these from the number 1 spot on my "Most poorly conceived styling on an already poorly conceived vehicle" list, is the Isuzu Vehicross

I'd actually like to have an SSR. It was a shitty idea from a marketing standpoint, but I think one would make a pretty cool daily driver.

Speaking of retro-on-purpose cars, I saw THREE of the "new" Thunderbirds this month, two earlier this week.

#8, I love those. I still wish Chevrolet would've made the Bel Air concept to compete :)

Oh... oh god no. I abhor the new Thunderbirds and the Bel Air concept with a PASSION.

Everyone has that exception to prove the rule, I'm like one of 4 people who DON'T get why everyone hates the retro T-bird, as if the 1982 T-bird was BETTER.

I like a fair number of Ford's retro cars and concept cars.

The FortyNine
Bronco concept
Ford GT
Mustang concept
Cobra concept
Interceptor (not "retro" but still)
021C
Indigo

#14, The Ford GT was my favorite retro concept, but I liked the Cobra concept second best of all of those. What are your thoughts on the Shelby GR-1 concept?

Random thought, but I really liked the Mercury Marauder 2-door convertible concept when it came out.

#15, I like it. I think it and the Chrysler Firepower would've been a good rivalry. Maybe it would've sparked GM to do a longnose V10 or V12 GT car too?

#16, GM did do a longnose high-powered GT car during that era. You may have heard of the ZR1? :P

#17, Well yeah but I was thinking something a bit more upscale and in a different price bracket than a Corvette.
