#1, Thank you. You've given me a name for a truck wheel style that I've seen for decades but have never been able to put a name to it. I've always knew them as those 'ugly yet robust bastards' rims. |

#5, The wedges actually can. if you back the wheel nut off all the way, and theres a pressure binding on the wedge, they can shoot out with force. and yes tubeless style wheels have a lock ring around the flange on one side, so you can slide the tire off, the ring can pop free under air pressure and slice you open. so yeah. this surprises me. |
