I never understood who was the market for these, it missed being a true PT Cruiser ripoff by ten years.

#1, *Bob Lutz and Bryan Nesbitt walk into GM planning office shortly after being hired-away from Chrysler*

"Have WE got an idea for you!"

...but, seriously, I always kinda liked the HHR. Basically, it was a better PT Cruiser. Better engineered, better space efficiency, subjectively better looking... I view it as if Chrysler had done a second-gen PT Cruiser, rather than the lame refresh they did in 2006.

...and I personally think the HHR SS was a fair bit more awesome than the PT Cruiser GT.

#2, And you could get an HHR SS Panel, too.

#2, And as they're leaving....

"I didn't think they'd actually DO it, the madmen..... so, what's plan "B" to get fired and collect severance?"

I have a coworker with an HHR....he swears by the thing.

And I really still don't have a problem with the PT Cruiser, either.

#5, It was an excellent concept with groundbreaking retro styling... that was a tad let down by its outdated Neon underpinnings and lackluster build and quality control on Chrysler's part... I just feel the HHR improved on every aspect (though, admittedly, not a fan of the HHR's grill... it just looks a bit... off. That was solved on the HHR SS.)
