The E60 is one of the best examples of car styling that I absolutely hated at first, but then ended up loving.

I think I did "hate it" but only because it was "cool" to do so. I like the M5, and I like the wagons, too, but now even in lower-trim, these are getting scarce. Also, these are twenty years old now :O

I still dislike BMWs of this era, and time seems to have proven me right. It's apparently nearly impossible to find these that don't require thousands of dollars in repairs to mid-2000s technology that is no longer produced. [Edited by Skid on 4-03-2023 @ 01:00:23 PM]

#3, I mentioned it in its own thread, but when I took possession of my dad's 128i (MY2013, whose design dates back to ~2004), it required $3000 worth of maintenance and replacement components.
