#2, The Daytona was a Corvette-based replica.

When the show really became popular, Maranello was rather perturbed that such a highly-watched show featured a *fake* Ferrari... they made a deal with the producers, they would supply a real Ferrari, the white Testarossa, in exchange for them destroying the fake Daytona and never using it again.

#3, But ironically, they still used a replica Testarossa - built from a Pantera - for much of the stunt work.

#4, But I imagine that was with Ferrari's blessing... as long as they still used a legit Testarossa for all the close-ups and "beauty shots"...
