A DVLA check shows it's a 1984 with the 2.5 diesel, with (naturally) an export marker. Its last road tax was due in September of 2012. It's probably been in the country for about 10 years, give or take a couple.

It failed its penultimate MOT test on November 20, 2008, for the following:
- Offside Front Headlamp not working on main beam (1.7.5a)
- Offside Rear Rear fog lamp not working (1.3.2b)
- Front passenger door cannot be opened from outside the vehicle (6.2.B.1b)
- Offside Rear Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion which adversely affects braking or steering (6.1.A.1)
- Rear Vehicle structure has excessive corrosion which adversely affects braking or steering (6.1.A.1)

All of these issues must've been fixed, since it passed its final MOT with no notes or failures two days later.

#2, Not through the official website, but you can find the test results on more than one website just by Googling the car's registration number.
