I couldn't find any information aside from it supposedly being a "Canadian export"... don't even know where it was located.

I've always kinda liked recessed, sealed-beam headlamps (love older work-truck trims of '80s/'90s/'00s trucks/vans).

#3, Same here. I've always liked them as well, particularly on trucks and vans. I really like the '92-'06? E-series vans and the '99-'07? Super Duties as well.

Just realized what this reminded me of... a Dodge St. Regis. All it needs are some translucent retractable covers over the lights :P

#7, I've seen sealed-beam headlight conversions of European-market '90s Chevy C/K pickups and Tahoes/Suburbans, so it figures that at least a couple of markets required them.
