Description:
My rental from this past weekend. 2021 Nissan Rogue. Had just over 4k on the odo.

I was honestly extremely impressed. Nissan has totally upped their game on interior materials. Took a while to get used to the funky shifter and E-parking brake, but otherwise a very pleasant drive. Felt slow as shit, though. I'm sure that's mainly down to the CVT.

Still preferred getting back to Florida and into my CX-3. I prefer the more "direct" feel of the power and simple, old-school controls.

Got a RAV4 for the current trip I'm on. It's so incredibly drab and chintzy compared to this car... not even worth taking a photo of it.

I like the current RAV4 quite a bit I do like these, too, but they can't hide the Mitsubishi DNA.

#2, Hrrrmmm... upon reading about it, it appears the Mitsu is more simply just a rebadged Nissan Rogue, not the other way around.

Near as I can tell from what I've read, this thing is still pure OG Nissan engineering and design, with nary any "Mitsubishi DNA" to "hide".

#3, Oh. I was mistaken then. I feel this (and the Outlander) is superficially nice. It looks good as a whole, but the details and materials cheapen it. The new Outlander looks nice in top-spec models. but lower-trims look absolutely vile. I almost think Mitsubishi may have designed the top-spec versions first, and then were like "Oh, shit, we need a cheaper one."

Just realized, I always seem to end up with a gray/silver/gunmetal/etc. colored rental car... perhaps that's just an extremely common color in rental fleets.

#5, It's a common color in general, especially for fleet-oriented cars I think.
