Maybe a Daewoo or a Kia then if it's not domestic. This is aggravating. |

Way too big to be a Miata. Looks almost like a 4 door. Man I thought I knew my cars, but trying to recognize one just from the Under Chassis is HARD. That subfame looks really unique, as does the bellhousing on the tranny. I've never seen either before. It's a late model judging by the look of the rear bumper cover. Maybe it's just a perspective thing making it look big, cause it almost looks like a Geo Prism. |

Well yeah, but what the hell does it mean if anything? I mean he could have custom made it so it doesn't mean anything. I'm confused. |

Not legaly it can't. D.A.R.E. vehicles are not allowed to be used as normal police vehicles(to fight the corruption of, "lets bust this guy and take his car). They prolly take this to shows, schools, churchs, etc. Most of them are done as fund raisers too. About 6 years ago, a Cali police department (not sure which), had a confiscated Camero that they installed a $7k stereo system into. It won several awards, and they used it to raise a bunch of money for the local D.A.R.E. program. All the car audio equipment and labor was donated by a local shop. They had a small feature on it in a Car Audio mag back then. I think D.A.R.E. is pretty retarded personaly, but I've seen a lot of really cool D.A.R.E. cars over the years, and working on building them up would be cool. Imagine what kind of stock you'd have to work from. Big time dealers and suppliers can afford some really cool and eccentric cars. |
