Other info: I'm a 28 year old misanthrope living in the outskirts of the post-apocalyptic
wasteland that was Detroit. My hobbies include writing, drinking, and wondering
why I'm pushing 30 and have never had a serious relationship.

Very tempting indeed, 18 year old me would have been drooling over that T-Bird, 30 year old me is looking for something a little more conservative...of course I say that now but I'll be driving out to White Lake next week

Yeah, with the Northstar 4.6, she was a heavy girl but she could move pretty good. I'm probably going to save some money and start car shopping again in the spring, preferably something with steel bumpers.

Judging by the decoration of the car next to it, I'd wager this is an art car purposefully made to look ridiculous. I mean that must be it, I can't fathom what the hell else it could be

I'm imagining myself inside this thing on a hot Michigan summer day, driving on the freeway to work, and I've got a big smile on my face

Yup, to a scrap yard...

And before I get any flack from anybody:

I paid it off 6 months early, then the front engine mounts (among a half dozen other things) went; I'd already put $2000 into it and I couldn't foot the bill for any more repairs in good conscience. It was in storage for the entire winter in MI, I've moved twice since this picture was taken. I may have been able to clear a thousand bucks if I went the Craigslist route but I just don't give a shit any more. My family has 4 cars for 4 people now, I'm probably going to wind up driving a 1999 Mercury cougar or a 1997 Ford Ranger for the spring. I'll save myself an insurance/car payment for a few months anyways. So now I will continue to look

As of about noon today the car has gone on to greener pastures, I'm probably going to lease something this summer. It was a fun (almost) 2 years
