Holy crap I just lost some respect for Veilside. :-(
The Veilside Supra is a beautiful car that has the HP to back it up, but a Veilside Tiburon?!? WTF is that.
I guess they need to make money off ricers too but damn. Veilside had a reputation for being a shop that did all the performance mods to backup the body mods but I guess they are doing any damn car now just to make some cash.

BiggLekk3si: Thanks for understanding.
OneeyedJack: I posted a message explaining what at the wheel meant and Mikesrt attacked me for no reason. Not only that, he continued to try and pick a fight with me so you think I'm going to be nice to him? Think again son. And to answer your question, I own a Supra. Preteen? By the looks of your pic you are about 16 yourself. I'm 29 son, run along now... |

Your first line says: "900 horse to the back tires?"
And you are calling ME a dumbass? Where the fuck else would it be going? Don't try and cover up because you said something stupid.
There are like 5 posts here with people saying "What does 900 hp at the wheel mean?"
That sounds pretty stupid to me as its a common term.
And to answer your last post, on a FWD car, yes you measure power at the front wheel ass. |

I can tell most of you don't do much racing. Education time.
1) Of *course* HP is measured at the rear wheel on a RWD car. It could say 900 RWHP thats the same as saying 900 at the wheel, its a common term in racing.
2) Cars rated at 320HP do NOT put 320HP at the wheel, they put maybe 280-300 or so. You lose like 20-30% of your HP between the crank and the wheels. Again, fairly common to say if you do any racing.
3) 900 HP at the wheel, tells me the car is making like 1000HP+ or more and its actually getting 900HP to the rear wheels. (The Veilside Supra btw makes 1040HP at the crank so I'm guessing its getting close to 900 to the rear wheels, that sounds right to me.)
Whats so hard to understand about this? |
