disrupture: yeah, OEM GLI, modified though. Without the special body kit, wheels, seats and trim, a GLI is just a regular Jetta 1.8T but with a 6-speed and slightly larger brakes. It might be fractionally faster with 0-60 than a normal Jetta 1.8T.
phonedials do look really good on MKIIs, they are a little big for my taste on a MKI. |

| yeah. i rocked them with the audi caps for awhile before i finally got VW caps. I like hiding my mods I am surprised that you picked up on that they werent OEM VW wheels, VW show organizers thought they were stock wheels, and that the car was stock overall, and they are supposidly VW enthusiests. |

porsche phone dials are 16s. I need 17 or bigger on a MKIV. Porsche twists would be nice though.
engine is just intake and catback. suspension is just a 2" drop FK cup kit. I want to get rid of it for coilovers though. The wheels are actually off a TT, close though, many people confuse them with S4 wheels |

Like the GLI but dont like the kit? I just took GLI front and rear lips and modified the front to not have the stupid side vents. and the rear to fit my dual tip exhaust. I opted for Oettinger skirts over OEM though. The engine is a 2.0 so its really pointless for me to mod it until i can afford FI. Now it just serves as a good reliable daily.
Hoopd87, i think its funny that you ask if people still say rice when this site asks if its rice or not. lol. In my area anything modified and not domestic is rice. |

| i figured i would get some shit for the black rubs. You either love them or you hate them. I used to get people thinking that my car was a GLI all the time before I filled the vents in on the front GLI lip. |
