My 1995 Ford Mustang GT-R (cheaper version of the GT, not sure of all the
differences), that appearently has a cam and some other internal work done,
is my baby. She's Tricoat of whatever color of red they used that year (I'm
not a big fan of red, but the tricoat adds alot to it, very rich), with a black
interior, and a decent T5 (or was, untill I let Aamco get ahold of it, the 'tards.
Still need to replace the tranny mounts, because their tech left the tranny
flopping around, the mount bolts were't in but about a fifth of the way.)
All I've done to her is tint and some sterio (head unit and working on
replacing factory speakers from the mach460), and that's how I like it. Some
day, when I have money, I'll toss on a higher quality blower and perhaps
some new rims of the very not-chrome variety.
The two cars I hate most are Tempos and Civics. :) |

blingbling, fellas. Blingbling.
Watch out for this one on the highway. (Spare parts might start falling off and hurt a real car.) |

I hear this actually happens becuase the dirt washes out from under the road? then the road eventually collapses? That really sucks. I'd be pissed if that happened to me. |

I think it's horrible, from this one pic. Plus the tall-as-the-g-ride taillights don't do anything for me. Looks like a handheld vacuum that hatched and didn't know when to stop growing. I'd be okay driving it with decals for a daycare on the side, but if I people could see me and presume I spent my own money on it, I'd be ashamed. Is it electric or what? What's it's story? |

I think they're just trying to be 'unique'. Of course, they lose track of the fact that 'unique' is synonamous with 'foolish' at certain times. The only other possibility I can think of is leaving it easier to work on certain things, but it appears all the turbo piping is on the back side and I can't see any gain from it being like this. I think he's just trying to look cool at the sport compact shows. How many ricemobiles open like that? |

sort of like large SUVs and Hondas. Stock, they are a specific type of car with a target audience and they do all right. Tack on a few hundred dollars in tacky body modifcations... |

It occured to me the other day.. The only reason I have trouble finding chrome rims I like is much like this -- The only reason I don't like Mitsubishis any more is becuase of the few owned by people who have to turn them into clown cars. They're decent, reliable sporty/economy cars, fairly clean-looking stock... Too bad some people can't maintain a mostly-stock look. |
