would prolly run 12's with DR's and race gas (accompanied by a drop in SC pulley size)

yeah i could put down a 13.1 easy at the track with a good launch.
like i said, 3 and 6 werent firing and i ran a 13.7 w/ 2.121 60' .... i have no problem taking them out, especialy from a roll, when traction isnt an issue. Took out my friends GTO today like nothing, walked away from a ls1 WS6 pretty easy last week.

u know, thats my car, my first car, your talking about..

well any way, i'm sure you'll be unimpressed once i get my whipple 2300AX atop my intercooler and kick that eaton M90 to the curb.

stock 97 GTP with a only a whipple is a 70 WHP gain, and thats with a bigger s/c pully than on the eaton.
they maxed out the stock injectors.

With rockers, headers, all that great suff it'll be a low 13 sec car, with the whipple and IC ontop of that, i will be running low 12's.

ITs a work inprogress...

SUre it's going to take me a prolly 2 years to finish all the mods paying tuition and all, but for sure i will be making alot more HP very soon.

It'll only be getting faster.

#22 the picture was taken at a relatives house, thats not where i live ;)

that 4.1 stroker that zzp had didnt break untill almost 500 wheel HP... and that bottom end is WEAKER than the stock one.

series 3 you mean?

yeah they have "powdered metal" rods, not forged... they are suposed to be stronger than ours... but one of the guys posted that it wasn't all that better... think he was one of the zzp guys

if i could have gotten a series III from an 04 gtp i would have but junk yards have waiting lists!!! and the price is rediculious.

the only difference between series 2 and 3 is the gen 5 m90, slightly bigger vlaves, slightly diff lower intake mani, and acouple little tranny things like a ratchiting sprag...

i figured i would pick up a gen 5 after some of them start wrecking in afew years.

I am also building a intercooler for it, :-D there are 3-4 on the market and they are ether WAY expensive and good (2500-1500, i paid 2300 for all the parts from the swap, not including the take offs i am selling) or cheap and crummy... since i have a CNC i will just make my own for a hell of a lot less and it should be perrty good, they are water to air, so think of it as an aluminum brick with a hole in the middle that sits under the blower with a heat exchanger inside it that you run water/antifreez thru, then another heat exchanger on the front of the car... kinda like lightnings and cobras, but theirs use the AC compressor instead of a small aux radiator to cool them IIRC . if its enough to get rid of all the Knock Retard with a 3 inch pulley i will be happy. the rockers should help too...

if you are familiar with the IC set up on Magnacharger's corvette kit its the same idea.
