#1, Nick Mason races his, besides being the drummer in the greatest rock band of all time, he is a HUGE car enthusiast and regularly thrashes all his priceless beauties at track meets and historic races. He once crashed his 250GTO and laughed about the $275,000 repair bill.

#3, Probably, he runs a business renting all of his cars for movies and appearances too. So I'm guessing he HAS to have them insured.

Doesn't look like a real 250 GTO to me...it appears to be one of the old Alpha 1 Datsun Z-based replicas.
