OMG where did this come from? I'm guessing it' slightly detuned from 1800 HP... BTW this has to be my favorite race car of all time. I have that famous poster of a 917 leaping on the Nordschleife framed and hung in my living room, even my wife admits it looks quite nice. Steve McQueen Gulf-liveried 917K = best looking race car ever.

#1, It's a one of kind made back in the '70s, a silencer had to be put in order to meet German sound emissions but it was still too loud. There was a loophole in some other part of Germany and they were able to register it and drive it on public roads.
