I would go out on a limb and say he feels the pictured shows and the ones mentioned in the description are worth watching. You pick up some of the language when watching stuff in that language. I picked up bakayaro from some unknown source years ago. |

#23, The real selling point of prime is the free two day shipping, which is a pretty sweet deal. |

TIME FOR AN UPDATE that nobody cares about... actually, too much to update with much detail...
The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya: Loved it. A pretty good mind-trip, especially since the episodes are meant to be watched out-of-chronological-order. (The first episode to be watched is actually the 11th episode, the last one to be watched is actually the sixth)
Bokusastu Tenshi Dokuro-chan: Loved it, insane, bloody, grotesque, slapstick, hilarious, cute.
School Rumble: Liked it. Lost the Fansubs of it that I had downloaded though (torrent program glitch)... I'm not gonna redownload it... I'll just wait for the Funimation official DVD releases, which are coming early 2007.
Initial D: Absolutely loved it. Fourth stage wasn't quite as good as the previous stages though, IMO, but still quite good... can't wait for Fifth stage, though, that's probably at least 2 years off, and will probably air over 2 or more years... quite a while to wait.. |

...and of course, recently viewed FLCL, which I would consider a must see, as it's only 6 episodes, but damn did they cram one fantastic Anime into that small amount of episodes... the DVDs of the series are really fucking expensive though... (I...err...uh, managed to watch the series without buying any DVDs... )
...and one series that I've borrowed from a friend, Slayers/Slayers NEXT is just fantastic... it's pretty much a slapstick/parody style Anime, but they managed to work some great plotlines and stories into it... the third in the series, Slayers TRY, my friend won't let me borrow, as she doesn't want me to finish that series before she does :P
But I'm actually getting to watch it on a slow basis, thanks to Anime on Demand (they add one or two episodes every one or two weeks... I'm up to episode 8 on it now)... but in an English dub *ugh* |

#22, to be fair, I knew what "baka" meant long ago, due to the allies after WWII mockingly calling some of the more elaborate Japanese suicide weapons "Baka bombs", the whole point of the 'going too far' episode of Excel Saga was deliberate, so that it would never see air in Japan as it violates nearly every rule of the broadcast code (if you time it, it's also one minute longer than the allowed normal time) |

Hmmm... neat site... http://listerx.com/browse.asp?SR=7634&FL=100040560 http://listerx.com/browse.asp?SR=7634&FL=100040561 I can keep track of Anime that I have and whatnot... Second list is only Anime that I've either rented, borrrowed from a friend, or watched at a friend's house...
The one thing lacking on Listerx, I can't list Anime I've seen via torrent, becuase it hasn't been released on DVD yet (shows like Bokusatsu Tenshi Dokuro-chan, School Rumble, etc...)
...oh, and you'll see I have two Initial D Tokyopop releases in my "Rented/Watched" section... yes indeedy, I rented a special two-for-one version of Initial D from Blockbuster, and that's what got me addicted to the series... watched the rest via fansubs though, because Tokyopop really fucked up the translation in many areas. |
