This turned out to be a very memorable episode...

...it also turned out being a turning point... perhaps for the worse. The scene in Alabama was not faked. They were literally chased down the freeway for miles... many members of the production crew felt in danger for their lives. Ever since then, it seems like they've gone for more set-up, even somtimes scripted, "events" during their road trips and challenges... perhaps to plan ahead with safety in mind, but trying to still capture the "humorous" misadventures that can happen.

#21, I also feel that this episode was probably my favorite episode.

I also am terrified of the south for that reason alone. I remember, even in Miami Beach, I didn't really feel "safe" taking pictures of cars, let alone in other parts of Florida. :/

Get rid of the Pacifica and this could be a still from a very forgotten early 90's madcap "on the road" comedy.... where everyone is in a race to find a buried briefcase full of cash.
