Turns out that's the wrong picture: Pictured above is a stick-shift F430.

Here's the stick-shift 599: http://www.motorauthority.com/wp-co..._599_manual.jpg

I thought that the 6 speed was a (very very rarely ticked) option all along?

#2, Not that I've ever known of....I thought the 599 was paddles only.

The site I got the picture from called it a conversion, but then again it was just on some shit like somebody's blog, so the writer might have been as confused as I am.

#3, Nope, just did some checking, it's a ridiculously rare option, apparently because the 599 works much, much better with the F1.
Here's another one http://ferrari-maserati-houston.ebi...no-3054435.html

#4, Nothing works much much better with F1 gearboxes. No street car, anyway. They are an abomination.

#5, I imagine you'd need a true sequential for paddles to make any sense, but... a sequential is a street car doesn't make any sense in the first place IMO.

#6, the 599 is a true sequential, but I was pulling that from http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/sh...ad.php?t=214982

Give me 3 pedals any day though.
